Was reading through this board a while back and hadn’t heard of Bastion before so went out and bought the game.
I REGRET NOTHING that game is fantastic!!
As for favourite game, I’m not entirely sure… FFIX was my fav out of the Final Fantasy series and in my opinion as it goes on, probably will remain that way as the newer games aren’t doing it for me. League Of Legends is good, but can get draining after a while as it is quite repetitive (I’m looking forward to the new map though!).

Imma just say Wind Waker and be done with it. XD
We made you play Bastion. Our work here is done.
I liked FF9 a lot too. My favorite FF game. I have a huge soft spot for General Beatrix.
I’ve really fallen out of the loop with current consoles to be honest.
I’m just not a fan :/
just give me my DS, any Pokemon or Fire Emblem game and im happy

I have to say I really enjoy mobile gaming (such as my DS) It allows me to play while I travel or while I’m in bed. My current game is Rune Factory 3. It’s actually pretty good, they made some great improvements to the mechanics of Harvest Moon.
My all time favorite game would have to be Secret of Mana. It’s a shame that the series kind of went down hill but at least they didn’t pull a Chrono Trigger and do nothing.

I just went through the trouble of rigging my PS3 to play Pokemon Fire Red on my TV. To be honest current consoles don’t have much going for them any more since developers have less say in what goes into the final product anymore.. except Bethesda and maybe a few other companies. My point is, you have every right to be apathetic, as am I. Come on now I use my PS3 to play Pokemon! There just aren’t many enticing games out there. But hey, playing Pokemon on a big TV in HD resolution is pretty awesome ^__^
Bastion really shares a lot of core things with Bioshock: It has a unique visual aesthetic, it experiments with narrative, it blends gameplay and story into eachother pretty seamlessly, and the story and characters are interesting and compelling. Solid ending too.
Been getting into Deus Ex over the past day or so, it’s crazy good.
just listening to the OST from that game makes you feel like you can do anything. then you try and play it on the hardest set up and you realise you can’t
My favorite game is an odd one, based off fun value and nostalgia tingles it gives me every time I think or hear the music: SaGa Frontier. That game is really wow.
Follow ups are:
Final Fantasy Tactics (For its story mainly.)
Final Fantasy 7
Spiro 2
Blazing Dragons
As an avid gamer since I got Yellow version, this is tough.
In no particular order:
Golden Sun
Thousand Arms (excellent PS1 RPG, unique character building through dating and forging)
Bioshock
Pokemon (Gold probably? I still play the games, their quality is consistently good)
Tales of Symphonia (Vesperia is very good too)
Fire Emblem 7 (the first one to come out on GBA in the US, such replayability and classic characters)
Banjo Kazooie
I don’t know how it’d be done, but products for those games that aren’t already here would be sick, just saiyan.
