I was just wondering how long it would take to get to New Zealand (I realise were a bit out of the way) both with standard or priority post.

Priority international shipping via USPS usually takes 6-10 days. Standard shipping can take anywhere from one or two weeks to outwards of a couple months in extreme cases. Unfortunately we can’t anticipate how long a package will be held up in customs on either end, but we always try our best to get everything there as fast as possible! :)
