Our Freddy & Golden Freddy Collector's Plush Are Back And Better Than Ever!

Hello Friends!

We’re excited to share that our Freddy & Golden Freddy Collector’s Plush has received a fresh new update!

Here at Sanshee, we've always believed that even our longest-running products deserve continued care and attention. Whether it's refining a body shape, adjusting materials, or making subtle design improvements, we're always looking for thoughtful ways to make our plush even more enjoyable for fans—both new and longtime collectors alike. It's all part of our commitment to continually refining our products and finding little ways to bring more joy to the characters you love.

Our newest Freddy Collector's Plush features one of its most noticeable updates yet: larger eyes that better match the design language of the rest of our collector plush lineup, including Foxy, Bonnie, and Chica. While it's a relatively subtle change, it's one we hope helps Freddy feel even more at home alongside the rest of the gang.

Of course, every update has a story behind it, so let's take a quick trip down memory lane and see how Freddy has evolved over the years.

Our very first Freddy Plush debuted in 2015. Full of charm from the very beginning, this original release marked the start of our Five Nights at Freddy's plush line. This Freddy Plush features a longer head with more pronounced cheeks, darker fur, thicker eyebrows, and a larger, more wedge-shaped nose. Similarly, Golden Freddy’s fur is noticeably darker than the iterations that followed. While they predate many of the features that would become staples of our collector series—such as our signature collector cards—they laid the foundation for everything that followed.

In 2020, Freddy received his first major refresh with the introduction of the Freddy Collector's Plush V2. This version introduced a softer, rounder face design while officially joining the Collector Plush lineup, complete with one of our collectible character cards. Other subtle adjustments include thinner eyebrows and more centered eyes, a smaller hat, a smaller, rounder nose, and a darker color for the inner-ear fur. Golden Freddy featured lighter fur, slightly larger eyes, and slightly shorter proportions overall. They represented another step in our ongoing effort to refine both the presentation and personality of the plush.

Today, Freddy continues that tradition. Our latest Freddy Collector's Plush builds upon the rounded look introduced with V2 while incorporating the updated eye design to create a more unified appearance across the collection. It's a small but meaningful refinement, and one we hope longtime fans and first-time collectors alike will appreciate. Other design changes include a slightly bigger mouth, thicker eyebrows than V2 (though not as thick as V1), a lighter color for the inner ear, and a fuller, better-defined hat. Golden Freddy, meanwhile, features a softer fabric, sharper eyebrows, white ear-stitching, and an even lighter coat.

Taken individually, these kinds of updates can seem minor, but they come together to create something greater than the sum of their parts, and reflect our commitment to our plush and our fans, to provide the absolute best product we can for as long as we can. As our collections grow, we'll continue looking for thoughtful opportunities to revisit existing favorites, make small improvements where we can, and ensure that every character feels at home alongside the rest of the lineup.

If you'd like to bring Freddy home, the updated Freddy Collector's Plush is available now! You can also pick up the Golden Freddy Collector's Plush, which features the same updated design language, along with our Freddy and Golden Freddy Collector's Pins.
