The Production Coordinator serves as the bridge between Sanshee and its manufacturers, working closely with a variety of teams in ensuring the accuracy of products, facilitating production orders and seeing to their arrival at their destinations. They will need to be comfortable talking to and negotiating with manufacturing partners, and be able to keep excellent documentation.
This position can be remote and is part time with flexible hours, starting at around 20 hours a week, with opportunities for later advancement. This opening is intended to be entry-level with an extended introductory period, and compensation starting at $20 per hour.

Product Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Select, vet, and serve as a point of contact for manufacturing partners.
- Ensure that products are manufactured on time and to design specifications.
- Keep detailed notes/documentation on all required forms (NDA’s Manufacturing contracts, standards, etc.) and provided to relevant parties.
- Coordinate with Sanshee business and legal teams to ensure manufacturing partners are compliant with agreements and standards.
- Negotiate and track costs of shipping, goods, minimums, etc. and arrange payment for production runs while keeping detailed records.
- Ensure that Design, Packaging, and Shipping processes are kept up to date
- Place product orders (including coordinating product quantity projections, creating purchase orders, confirm and track shipping and arrival dates, and coordinating shipment quantities with their respective destinations.
- Help maintain product conformity and quality by coordinating and reviewing quality checks before shipment and after receipt, providing documentation and reference materials.
- Work with manufacturing partners to correct, refund, credit or replace products that do not meet conformity or quality requirements.
- Keep current with product safety and labeling requirements, coordinating product testing and manufacturing compliance.
- Coordinate product samples between manufacturers and design team.
- Assign and keep records of product barcodes, SKUs, and batch numbers while. maintaining accurate documentation on internal processes and manufacturing processes
- Keep all procedures and documentation updated on company database.
Pluses
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of product design, materials sourcing, or manufacturing processes
- Experience in Product Design or related fields.
- Located in the Seattle or Kitsap area of Washington State.
