Sanshee is looking to hire a well-rounded part-to-full time designer to create products such as plush, figures, jewelry, bags, home goods, and apparel. Of these categories, plush will be the primary focus.
This job may be done remotely, however being located in the Bremerton/Seattle area is preferred, and relocation may become important in the future.
General Accountabilities:
- Create product concept art.
- Create detailed product design documents and diagrams for manufacturers including product turn-arounds with measurements and pantones.
- Provide detailed edits and feedback on products throughout all stages of development.
- Keep art files, layers and elements organized and properly labeled.
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 Years of related experience or education.
- A deep understanding and passion for the gaming, geek, and pop culture community.
Skills:
- Ability to work with measurements and diagrams.
- Advanced skill in Adobe Illustrator.
- Graphic design skills with an excellent understanding of composition, typography, etc.
- Understanding of materials.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment, and be independent/self-sufficient on solo tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with manufacturers to ensure product quality and production meet Sanshee standards of excellence.

- Strong work ethic - diligence and persistence with assigned tasks.
Pluses:
- Experience with plush design.
- Experience with 3D rendering.
- Experience with making patterns for clothing.
- Experience with a wide variety of art and digital media.

Salary:
- Salary starts at $41,600 annually
